A few months ago, I left my job as a child welfare social worker to care for my mother-in-law. She suffers from Altzeimer's Disease. The purpose of this blog is to document our experience with caretaking for Alma while keeping friends and family up with the progression of this difficult disease.

"You are a Kind meanie weenie"
Just a brief posting to share that I have been upgraded from a "meanie weenie" to a "kind meanie weenie" . Alma laughed and laughed as she decided that this is my new status. It was hilarious!!!!

You've had a sense of humor as long as I can remember. In fact,not too long after we met 42 years ago, I remember early smiles and giggles of joy.
